Pelajar Indonesia yang saat ini sudah tamat dari Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) dan memiliki prestasi yang bagus di sekolah, pemerintah Singapore menawarkan beasiswa sekolah di Singapore untuk kamu yang memenuhi persyaratan di atas. Silahkan baca syarat dan ketentuannya di bawah ini:

The ASEAN Scholarships for Indonesia is tenable for 4 years leading to the award of the Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Advanced (GCE A) Level (or equivalent) certificate. The Scholarship is for studies in selected Singapore schools from Secondary Three to Pre-University Two and is renewed annually, subject to the satisfactory performance of the scholar.

Students from Indonesia are welcome to apply for the ASEAN Scholarships for Indonesia to enter Singapore schools at the Secondary Three level. Candidates who are not short-listed for the scholarships will be considered for the Merit Awards.

Eligibility

Students who meet the following criteria are invited to apply for the scholarship:

* Nationals of Indonesia
* Born between 1994 to 1996
* Sat for 2010 SMP 3 National Final Evaluation Examination (UAN) and have done consistently well in school

All applicants are required to submit certified copies of the following items directly to the Singapore Ministry of Education before the closing date, 15 July 2010:

(i) Birth Certificate;
(ii) Identity Card / Passport (if any); and
(iii) SMP 3 UAN Examination Result Slip
Test and Interview Cities

* Jakarta
* Medan
* Surabaya
* Pontianak
* Singapore

Note: Pontianak and Singapore may be used as Test / Interview Centres if there are sufficient candidates.

ASTAR Pre-Graduate Scholarship (PGS) Singapore 2010

A*STAR Scholarship membuka kesempatan kepada Pelajar lulusan S1 Indonesia untuk melanjutkan studynya ke Singapore melalui program beasiswa A*STAR Pre-Graduate Scholarship (PGS) yang dibuka hingga akhir tahun ini.

A*STAR Scholarship

ASTAR Pre-Graduate Scholarship (PGS). Students in Science, Computing and Engineering are invited to apply for ASTAR Pre-Graduate Scholarship.

FEATURES OF ASTAR PRE-GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP

TERMS

A stipend during the pursuit of the Bachelor’s degree programme amounting to: -

* $460 per month in Year 1 and Year 2
* $560 per month in Year 3
* $760 per month in Year 4; and
* $760 per month in Year 5

for up to 12 months per academic year, or up to the date of graduation, whichever is earlier.

Tuition fee subsidy for the respective year(s) during the term of the Scholarship.

Candidates awarded must maintain good academic standing for the award to be renewed the following year.

All rates/allowances are subject to ASTAR adjustments from time to time.

ELIGIBILITY

* Singapore citizens, Singapore PRs and Nationals of ASEAN countries.
* Undergraduates from Science, Engineering & Computing.
* Polytechnic Diploma with Merit.
* Candidates must be on track to attain at least a good 2nd Upper Class of Honours or equivalent.
* Must not be holding an existing scholarship, bursary, or study loan.

CONDITIONS

* To maintain a CAP of at least 4.25 throughout their undergraduate programme.
* Upon completion of their undergraduate studies, candidates are required to embark on a PhD programme within 6 months. Candidates can apply to ASTAR scholarships in their final year of studies at NUS.
* The Singapore PRs and Nationals of ASEAN countries must be willing to take up Singapore citizenship if offered ASTAR scholarships for their PhD studies

The College Scholarship is a new scholarship that NTU is launching from Academic Year 2010/11. It will be awarded to outstanding freshmen pursuing full-time undergraduate programmes in NTU.

Eligibility

* Open to all nationalities.
* Successful awardees should read a full-time undergraduate degree programme leading to a first degree, with the exception of Biomedical Sciences & Chinese Medicine and the NTU-Georgia Tech Integrated Programmes where it will cover only the first three years of study in NTU.
* Possess outstanding Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘A’ level, Local Polytechnic Diploma, NUS High School Diploma, IB Diploma or Year 12 equivalent qualifications.
* Excellent Co-Curricular Activities records.
* Strong leadership qualities and potential.

College Scholarship covers up to the normal programme duration on condition that the scholar maintains a record of good academic performance and conduct satisfactory to the University.

* Subsidised tuition fees (after Tuition Grant) will be fully covered
* Living allowance of S$3,600 per academic year
* No bond is attached to the College Scholarship apart from the three-year bond applicable to all Singapore PRs and international students under the MOE Tuition Grant Scheme

Terms & Conditions

* Scholar may not, without the approval of the University, hold concurrently any other scholarships, bursaries or university loans (except for one time award or book prize).
* College Scholarship holder is required to maintain a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.5 out of 5.0. Academic performance will be reviewed every semester.
* The Scholarship may be withdrawn at any time if, in the opinion of the University, the scholar’s progress or behaviour is deemed unsatisfactory.
* If the scholar decides to terminate the scholarship prematurely, the University reserves the right to impose a repayment on a case-by-case basis.

The same application period for admissions applies. Scholarships are awarded based on competition amongst shortlisted candidates.

Applicants are required to submit your application for admission before submitting your application for scholarship.

PhD Student Position in the Microbial Ecophysiology and Community Dynamics in Environmental Bioprocesses, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore

A PhD student position is available in School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE), Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore. The research will focus on the microbial ecophysiology and community dynamics in environmental bioprocesses. Self?motivated individuals who are interested in environmental microbiology and engineering are encouraged to apply. Candidates with a Master degree in relevant discipline and a strong background in experimental microbiology and/or bioprocess engineering will be considered favorably.

NTU is a major research intensive university in Singapore, and is highly recognized for its excellence in science and engineering. It is always highly ranked in many international comparisons of higher education.

A 4 year full research scholarship will be given through the School to the qualified candidate. The scholarship covers all tuition fees and stipend of S$2,000/month which is raised to S$2,500/month from year 2 after passing qualification exam. The monthly living cost on campus is about S$800-900. Special support for students to attend oversea conferences is also available.

Applicants with qualified academic record and good TOFEL and GRE scores will be considered immediately. International applicants must submit TOEFL and GRE scores (tested within 2 years) to the School before getting the final admission. Local applicants do not need the scores.

National University of Singapore Scholarship 2010

Master in Public Administration Scholarship – the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (LKYSPP) at the National University of Singapore (NUS)

The 1-year Master in Public Administration (MPA) programme provides an intensive, interdisciplinary course of study for experienced professionals who wish to acquire new knowledge and skills to enhance their leadership and managerial capabilities. This innovative programme can be taken full-time or part-time.

Taught by expert faculty using a problem-based learning approach and real-world case studies, MPA students learn to apply the techniques of policy analysis and programme evaluation to resolve complex multi-dimensional policy challenges, as well as sharpen their leadership and communication skills. The School also conducts an active programme of seminars and public lectures by political, not-for-profit and business leaders to enable all students to complement their formal learning with the opportunity to interact with distinguished individuals who are shaping the future.

The MPA class comprises approximately 60 accomplished and motivated individuals who bring with them a wealth of diverse experiences to enhance the classroom learning experience. Students come from many different countries – from Southeast Asia, South Asia, East Asia and the Pacific and Africa. They work in a variety of sectors such as finance, trade, education, media, health, transport, housing, foreign affairs and development. Despite their short time together, or perhaps because of the shared experience of learning and working under tremendous pressure, MPA students forge an enduring international network of professional and personal contacts.

The School expects its MPA graduates to serve in a wide range of middle- to senior-level positions in the government, non-profit organisations, international organisations and the private sector.

Scholarships

The scholarships below are offered on a competitive basis. Applicants must have good academic and professional records. They must also have demonstrated leadership and a desire to contribute to public service. Not all the awards will be made unless thereare candidates of sufficient merit. Scholars may not concurrently hold any other scholarship, fellowship or award without the prior approval of the School.There is no bond or obligation for the scholar to be employed by NUS or in Singapore, except for the Lien Foundation scholarship.

Note 1: The following items are covered by the terms of the relevant scholarships:

Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy Graduate Scholarship

The Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy Graduate Scholarship is available to full-time students who have demonstrated leadership and a desire to contribute to public service. It is available to all nationalities except Singapore citizens and permanent residents. Please refer to Note 1 for the terms of this scholarship.

CapitaLand LKYSPP Scholarship

The CapitaLand LKYSPP Scholarship is available to full-time students who are citizens of ASEAN countries (except Singapore), India or the People’s Republic of China. Please refer to Note 1 for the terms of this scholarship.

The Lien Foundation Scholarship for Social Service Leaders aims to groom talent, build capability in the social service sector and develop outstanding leaders to serve the community. It is available to full-time and part-time students who are Singapore citizens or permanent residents.

The Scholarship provides for:

A monthly allowance (for full-time candidates only) throughout the period of the award

A one-time book allowance

Tuition, health insurance, examination and other approved fees

Rodamas – LKYSPP Scholarship

PT Rodamas Company and the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy offer a joint scholarship to students who are citizens of Indonesia. Please refer to Note 1 for the terms of this scholarship.

PT Sequislife Company and the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy offer a joint scholarship to students who are citizens of Indonesia. Please refer to Note 1 for the terms of this scholarship.
