Each year, a maximum of 5 scholarships shall be awarded to deserving individuals. For this purpose, CIMB Group seeks highly talented individuals who have attained an impressive track record of academic and personal achievements and can see themselves playing a significant role in the development of Southeast Asia.

• Be a citizen of any South East Asia country
• Have gained acceptance at a top graduate school to pursue a postgraduate degree programme in any of the following fields of study at the time when the CIMB Regional Scholarship is awarded:

The College Scholarship is a new scholarship that NTU is launching from Academic Year 2010/11. It will be awarded to outstanding freshmen pursuing full-time undergraduate programmes in NTU.
Eligibility
* Open to all nationalities.
* Successful awardees should read a full-time undergraduate degree programme leading to a first degree, with the exception of Biomedical Sciences & Chinese Medicine and the NTU-Georgia Tech Integrated Programmes where it will cover only the first three years of study in NTU.
* Possess outstanding Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘A’ level, Local Polytechnic Diploma, NUS High School Diploma, IB Diploma or Year 12 equivalent qualifications.
* Excellent Co-Curricular Activities records.
* Strong leadership qualities and potential.

College Scholarship covers up to the normal programme duration on condition that the scholar maintains a record of good academic performance and conduct satisfactory to the University.
* Subsidised tuition fees (after Tuition Grant) will be fully covered
* Living allowance of S$3,600 per academic year
* No bond is attached to the College Scholarship apart from the three-year bond applicable to all Singapore PRs and international students under the MOE Tuition Grant Scheme

6. Korean Language Course
o After 1 year of Korean language training, Master’s or doctoral program will be followed.
o Duration : 1 year (Scholarship students who still don̢۪t get a TOPIK level 3 or above certificate after completing the language course should take an additional language course and can enter only after getting TOPIK level 3 or above)
* After additional 2 semesters of Korean language courses (total 1 year period), students who still don't acquire the TOPIK 3 or above cannot enter the main program. (A student who used the additional language training will have demerit when he/she asks for an emergency extension with reasonable explanation. (For instance: Deduction of that period from the possible extension.)
o Institution :
- Applicants recommended by a Korean Embassy (Consulate) and overseas Korean adoptees will study at 1 of the 5 applied universities.
- Applicants recommended by the universities in Korea will study at the same university.

o Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree as of September 1, 2010
* Applicants who are enrolling or have already enrolled in the same academic program in Korea as the one they are applying for will not be admitted.
* For Master's program (or Integrated Master's & Doctoral program): students who hold a Bachelor's degree or a diploma that is equivalent to or higher than Bachelor's degree
* For Doctoral program: students who hold a Master's degree or a diploma that is equivalent to or higher than Master's degree.
* Applicants who are expecting the adequate diploma should present their diploma by September 1, 2010 before entry.
o Should have a grade point average (G.P.A.) at least 2.64 on a 4.0 scale, 2.80 on a 4. 3 scale, 2.91 on a 4.5 scale or grades/marks/score of 80% or higher from the previous attended institution

-Monthly Allowance : 900,000 won(KRW) per month
-Research Allowance : 210,000 won for students in human and social sciences; 240,000 won for students in natural and mechanic sciences per semester
-Relocation (Settlement) Allowance : 200,000 won upon arrival
-Language Training Fee : The full costs up to 1 year
-Tuitions : All admission fees are waived by the host institution. The full tuition is paid by NIIED.
-Dissertation Printing Costs : 500,000 ~ 800,000 won for the costs related to a printing dissertation
-Medical Insurance : 15,000 won per month(limited insurance coverage) will be provided to the university for students.
-Special fund for students proficient in Korean language (TOPIK level 5 or 6) : 100,000 won per month(Commencing from the main program)

If the results show that the applicant is unfit to be a KGSP student, all costs for departure to their own country will be borne by the KGSP applicant.

Master in Public Administration Scholarship – the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (LKYSPP) at the National University of Singapore (NUS)The 1-year Master in Public Administration (MPA) programme provides an intensive, interdisciplinary course of study for experienced professionals who wish to acquire new knowledge and skills to enhance their leadership and managerial capabilities. This innovative programme can be taken full-time or part-time.
Taught by expert faculty using a problem-based learning approach and real-world case studies, MPA students learn to apply the techniques of policy analysis and programme evaluation to resolve complex multi-dimensional policy challenges, as well as sharpen their leadership and communication skills. The School also conducts an active programme of seminars and public lectures by political, not-for-profit and business leaders to enable all students to complement their formal learning with the opportunity to interact with distinguished individuals who are shaping the future.
The MPA class comprises approximately 60 accomplished and motivated individuals who bring with them a wealth of diverse experiences to enhance the classroom learning experience. Students come from many different countries – from Southeast Asia, South Asia, East Asia and the Pacific and Africa. They work in a variety of sectors such as finance, trade, education, media, health, transport, housing, foreign affairs and development. Despite their short time together, or perhaps because of the shared experience of learning and working under tremendous pressure, MPA students forge an enduring international network of professional and personal contacts.
The School expects its MPA graduates to serve in a wide range of middle- to senior-level positions in the government, non-profit organisations, international organisations and the private sector.
Scholarships
The scholarships below are offered on a competitive basis. Applicants must have good academic and professional records. They must also have demonstrated leadership and a desire to contribute to public service. Not all the awards will be made unless thereare candidates of sufficient merit. Scholars may not concurrently hold any other scholarship, fellowship or award without the prior approval of the School.There is no bond or obligation for the scholar to be employed by NUS or in Singapore, except for the Lien Foundation scholarship.

Eligibility
* Open to all nationalities.

Terms & Conditions

* Nanyang Scholar is required to maintain a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.5 out of 5.0. Academic performance will be reviewed every semester.
* Nanyang Scholar is required to stay for at least one year in a hall of residence during your course of study and participate in university campus life.
* Nanyang Scholar is to undertake the role of Student Ambassador, or any other similar role, to represent the University as and when called upon.
* The Scholarship may be withdrawn at any time if, in the opinion of the University, the scholar’s progress or behaviour is deemed unsatisfactory.
* If the scholar decides to terminate the scholarship prematurely, the University reserves the right to impose a repayment on a case-by-case basis.
* Nanyang Scholar is required to attend all the Nanyang Scholars Programmes, i.e., Orientation, Award Ceremony and Leadership Training Programme, conducted by Office of Admissions and Financial Aid.

Fellowship Grant from Asian Civilisations Museum, Singapore
Job Description : The Asian Civilisations Museum (ACM) in Singapore invites scholars specialising in Buddhist art or Indian Trade Textiles to apply for a 12-month research fellowship. The applications will be screened by a committee of eminent scholars and will be administered by the Research and Publication Unit (RPU) of ACM.
The research fellowships were first offered in 2009. They are planned to generate in-depth study, documentation and thought leading publications on specialised aspects of Asian cultures. This is in line with the aim of the ACM to be a centre of research in Asian cultures and arts. Since its opening at the Empress Place in 2003, the ACM has established a reputation in the international museum arena for its excellent gallery displays and exhibitions.
The ACM is undertaking to develop its research potential in the field of Asian archaeology, art history and material culture, so as to become the regional hub synonymous with excellent research projects and publications in the field.
