Beasiswa diberikan 2 (dua) kali setahun yaitu:

Persyaratan yang harus dipenuhi untuk beasiswa S3.

* Usia maksimum 35 tahun.
* Tidak menerima beasiswa dari lembaga atau sumber lainnya.
* Sudah diterima atau telah mendapatkan surat keterangan diterima dalam program S3 di perguruan tinggi atau lembaga yang berada di Indonesia.
* Selama mengikuti program S2, penerima beasiswa S3 harus mendapatkan nilai cum laude atau minimal berada pada peringkat ke-5.
* Pendaftar harus menyerahkan dua rekomendasi dari tokoh ilmuwan dalam bidang ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi.
* Pendaftar harus menunjukkan sikap kepemimpinan dalam bidangnya dan memiliki tingkat integritas dan kreatifitas yang tinggi.

Proses pendaftaran dan seleksi

* Pendaftar harus mengisi formulir pendaftaran secara lengkap disertai dengan dokumen penunjang.
* Pemilihan penerima beasiswa ditentukan dalam sidang dewan pakar yang telah ditentukan oleh Yayasan.
* Seleksi dilakukan berdasarkan 5 (lima) kelompok bidang ilmu yakni :

2. Kelompok Ilmu Kedokteran dan Bioteknologi,

ESMT continues development of scholarship program to promote diversity on the MBA

* Full scholarships available for exceptional female applicants

ESMT European School of Management and Technology has continued the development of its MBA scholarship program for 2010-11. The MBA program at ESMT is built on both faculty and peer-to-peer learning, and the school is committed to diversity in the classroom. “The current Full-time MBA class at ESMT is made up of participants from 21 countries,” said Nick Barniville, Director of MBA Programs. “Our aim is to further increase this diversity.” The majority of all ESMT scholarships are now clustered according to region. Financial support is being offered in the form of merit-based partial scholarships to applicants from the Americas, Central and Eastern Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.

Two full scholarships for women will also be provided this year (value 38,000 EUR each). “We already have 35%women in the MBA class, and we are committed to doing everything we can to further increase this figure,” adds Barniville.

The school is also introducing an Academic Excellence Scholarship, giving financial support to an exceptional applicant with a GMAT score of over 700. In addition, applicants for the Full-time MBA have the opportunity of applying for the ESMT Corporate Fellowship Program. The program combines a full scholarship with attractive internship opportunities and mentoring at one of ESMT’s founding companies after graduation.

Tuition and fees for self-sponsored participants of the Full-time MBA program are 38,000 EUR. This includes 9,000 EUR for learning materials, office supplies, food and drinks on campus on weekdays while the program is running, and the international field seminar.

This year, for the first time, some scholarship funding will also be made available to self-financing participants on the school’s Executive MBA program beginning October 2010, which carries a tuition fee of 57,500 EUR.

Application deadlines are mid-November 2010 (for full-time MBA beginning January 2011) and August 2010 (for Executive MBA beginning October 2010).

Masters Programme in Terrorism and International Security Studies at Universitas Indonesia

Universitas Indonesia has recently established a new Master`s Degree Programme in Terrorism and Security Studies which will be managed by the Department of International Relations in the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences. Universitas Indonesia aims to play a role in anti-terrorism efforts, at least in two ways. First it will contribute to the development of governmental counter-terrorism policy. This requires strategies to hinder terrorist activity as well as efforts to protect civil rights and social stability.

Our rationale is to support and inform the state in its mission to counter terrorism and prevent the derogation of civil rights and liberties whilst also maintaining good governance, security and social services for the people. Secondly it will help create an unbiased and academically sound body of terrorism studies free from the agenda of ruling governments, political parties, agencies and private entities.

Terrorism is only part of a bigger vision of problemmatic issues confronting Indonesians, and other citizens of the world, which are associated with global uncertainty. These issues include financial instability, climate change, pandemics and a range of networked threats organized and run by various illegitimate actors. Globalization has facilitated increased volumes of trade and wealth, as will also be generated from ASEAN`s Free Trade Agreement with China. However we need to be mindful that this wealth will be unevenly distributed. Globalization has also generated an underclass of malcontents and this offers opportunities for new criminal activity and political violence on a considerable scale. This is not limited to organized crime but also parallel effects of money laundering, corruption, weapons proliferation and the emergence of kleptocratic regimes.

Indonesia`s security sector, the parliament, the executive body and security agencies can no longer ignore transnational security issues. While the rush against terrorism dies down as succcessful police killings and captures pile up, we can ask ourselves whether intelligence and security agencies have sufficient capacity to address other transnational issues such illegal trafficking of drugs, women and children and infiltration of illegitimate actors into our borders.

In regard to this background the new Terrorism and Security Studies
Programme will address the following key issues:

- What is terrorism and what drives it?
- Who are the `terrorists` and how do they operate?
- Which political methods can best help us explain and understand terrorism and state responses to terrorism?
- How do national security systems engage with the terrorist threat?
- How does the interaction between the international Islamist movement and the nature of the state in Indonesia contribute to the emergence of Islamist terrorism in the country?
- Why has political Islam gained popularity in Indonesia and why has it gained significant power in government decision-making. How does this compare with other political movements that have also applied violence in their campaigns?
- What are the dynamics between the Islamist movement in the Middle East and South Asia and the growth of the movement in Southeast Asia, especially Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines and Indonesia?
- How have the processes of globalization impacted upon terrorism.
- How can we understand the relationship between democracy, authoritarianism and terrorism?
- How is the threat of terrorism perceived by state or non-state groups? How does this translate into counter-terror policy?
- How have Indonesia and other S-E Asian countries interacted with Western military and economic support in recent history?

17 bursaries for a full fee waiver are available for the 2010 intake of students. These bursaries will be available on a competitive basis. Grantees of a fee waiver will be short-listed from the results of the selection test held by Universitas Indonesia.

The Panasonic Scholarship Program 2010-2011

The Panasonic Scholarship Program was established in 1998 in commemoration of the company’s 80th anniversary as a way for the company to express its appreciation to society. Its aim is to provide scholarship opportunities to privately financed students from Asian countries who wish to pursue a master’s course in Japan, to offer financial assistance to foster highly educated experts who can contribute to the development of their countries in the 21st century, and to promote mutual friendship between their home countries and Japan.

Eligibility

A privately financed student from Indonesia, who wishes to pursue a master’s course in Japan, should meet the following requirements:

1. Nationality:
Applicants must be citizens of Indonesia

2. Educational Background etc:
Applicants must be graduates or pending graduates of universities and have a distinguished academic record and must have completed 16 years of school education or have been accepted as eligible for enrollment at the targeted graduate schools. However, applicants must have completed their bachelor degrees no more than 4 years prior to the date of their arrival in Japan. (with age less than 26 years old in March 2011).

3. Specialization:
Applicants must major in any one of the science and technology disciplines. (Mathematics, Natural Science, Engineering, Bio-technology, Agricultural, and IT (Information Technology)
Note: This excludes medical science, pharmacology and dentistry

4. Japanese Language Proficiency:
Applicants must have adequate proficiency and knowledge in the Japanese language not only for studying at master’s level but also for understanding Japanese culture.

5. Health Conditions:
Applicants must be medically fit and must be strongly motivated to study in Japan.

6. Others:

* Applicants must be interested in and have the desire to contribute to the development of Indonesia and to promote friendship between Indonesia and Japan. .
* Applicants must obtain a study visa and arrive in Japan by end of March 2011 to attend the award ceremony to be held at Panasonic Headquarters at the beginning of April 2011.
* Applicants who are receiving or will receive other scholarships including Japanese Government Scholarships are not eligible for the Panasonic Scholarship.
* Applicants who are already enrolled at graduate schools in Japan at the time of application are not eligible for the Panasonic Scholarship.

Application Procedures

Application Procedures: Indonesia Panasonic Office will select Panasonic Scholarship candidates in three phases, as follow :

* PHASE I.

All candidates must apply through (and only by) electronics application. This first selection will seek a record of the applicants overall data including: biographical information, academic records (GPA), language capabilities, and readiness to enroll master degree program in Japan.
The e-application submission will be closed on MARCH 10th, 2010 . In Phase I, 100 (hundreds) applicants will be selected as semifinalist and their names will be announced in MARCH 15th 2010 . via e-mail and website.

* PHASE II.

Semifinalists will be notified and receive an official application form through login and download from Panasonic Scholarship Indonesia website (user and password will deliver only to 100 (hundreds) Semifinalist later.
The form will require detailed biographical data, academic report (transcript), an essay of master research proposal, personal recommendations, and Professor acceptance. The semifinalist must submit official application form (item 1 until 5) as mentioned below by mail with deadline on APRIL 20 th, 2010.

Documents to be submitted in Phase II :
1. Application form (prescribed form No.1)
2. A letter of recommendation from the dean of the university the applicants graduated from (prescribed form No.2)
3. Study and research plan in Japan (prescribed form No.3)
4. Original university transcript (or legalized), photocopy only without legalized unacceptable.
5. A certified copy of the applicant’s degree
The committee will selects 12 (twelve) finalists based on documents screening, and mini-thesis or research proposal evaluation.

* PHASE III.

On June 7th – 8th, 2010 [tentative] all finalists will be invited to attend the Final Selection Stage. The Committee composed of Panasonic Gobel Group of Companies top management, distinguished universities professors, President of the Panasonic Scholarship Inc.
Japan, and Training & Recruitment Consultants will interview and evaluate each finalist. The 3 (three) most qualified finalists will be selected to be Panasonic Scholarship Nominees.

Expat Youth Scholarship Program - Clements International

Clements International offers US$10,000
in Expat Youth Scholarships

Clements International is pleased to announce its 2nd annual Expat Youth Scholarship program for expatriate students. US$10,000 will be shared between six winning students, aged 12-18, of any nationality, who have spent the last two consecutive years living outside of their home country.

The scholarship contest offers expat students a chance to share their experiences of living in a foreign country through a 500-750 word essay and a creative image answering the question “Where would you go in your flying house?” The “flying house” is inspired by the idea that students who spend their childhoods moving between different countries and cultures acquire unique life experiences.

Scholarships to Study Indonesian Language and Art

DARMASISWA is a scholarship program offered to all foreign students from countries which have diplomatic relationship with Indonesia to study Bahasa Indonesia, arts, music and crafts. Participants can choose one of 45 different universities located in different cities in Indonesia. This program is organized by the Ministry of National Education (MoNE) in cooperation with the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).

The DARMASISWA program was started in 1974 as part of ASEAN (Association of South East Asian Nations) initiative, admitting only students from ASEAN. However, in 1976 this program was extended to include students from other countries such as Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hungary, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Sweden, and USA. In early 90’s, this program was extended further to include all countries which have diplomatic relationship with Indonesia. Until to date, the number of countries participating in this program is more than 75 countries.


The main purpose of the DARMASISWA program is to promote and increase the interest in the language and culture of Indonesia among the youth of other countries. It has also been designed to provide stronger cultural links and understanding among participating countries.

Darmasiswa RI Program is conducted in 2 schemes, i.e :

* Regular 1 (One) Year -Darmasiswa RI scholarship Program
Regular One Year program is a one-year scholarship program offered to foreign students from countries which have diplomatic relationship with Indonesia to study Indonesian language and Art (traditional music, traditional dance, and Indonesian craft) in selected Indonesian Higher Education Institutions.
* Regular 6 (Six) Months – Darmasiswa RI scholarship Program
Regular six-month program is a six-month scholarship program offered to foreign students from countries which have diplomatic relationship with Indonesia to study Indonesian language in selected Indonesian Higher Education Institutions.

PhD Scholarship at Technical University of Denmark 2010

PhD scholarship in Environmental Assessment of CO2 Contamination in Shallow Aquifers at Technical University of Denmark

Effects on groundwater quality related to the release of CO2 from underground CO2 storage.

Applications are invited for a PhD scholarship in the area of groundwater geochemistry related to potential effects of Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) The PhD position will be funded by the Danish Council for Strategic Research, in the research project Environmental Technology For Geological Storage Of Carbon Dioxide running 2010-2013.

Project Description
The need to reduce the rise in the CO2 concentration of the atmosphere has initiated the development of techniques aiming at reducing the CO2 emission from power plants and other point sources. One of these techniques is to capture CO2 at the point source and then inject it in pressurized form as a supercritical liquid into depleted hydrocarbon reservoirs, in the deep ocean or in deep saline aquifers. Little attention has so far been paid on the possible impacts of CO2 storage on the shallow groundwater systems which frequently are exploited for drinking water and feed streams and wetlands. The acidification caused by CO2 entering the aquifer from below could mobilize trace metals and the higher levels of bicarbonate might desorb phosphate and arsenate deteriorating drinking water and surface water quality. Increased rates of mineral dissolution could increase aquifer permeability leading to rapid transport of contaminants. Field based studies elucidating these aspects are clearly needed.


The PhD project will investigate the consequences of high CO2 concentrations entering into aquifers through a combination of laboratory column experiments and field experiments in aquifers. Geochemical modeling should be an integral part of the experimental planning and interpretation and extrapolation of the results.

Qualifications
For this position we seek a PhD candidate with a Master`s degree in aquatic geochemistry or a related field. Experience with laboratory and field investigations as well as geochemical modeling will be advantageous. We expect good communication skills, both verbally and in writing. The position is open to both international and Danish candidates.

The PhD project will be carried out at DTU Environment www.env.dtu.dk in close collaboration with GEUS (Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland) (www.geus.dk).

Approval and Enrolment
The PhD candidate will be enrolled at the Technical University of Denmark, DTU Environment and be part of the large and divers group of PhD students there. The full scholarship will be for an enrollment period of 3 years.

The scholarships for the PhD degree are subject to academic approval, and the candidates will be enrolled in the Chemistry, Biotechnology and Chemical Engineering PhD programme at DTU. Beasiswa Supersemar 2010

Bersama ini kami sampaikan bahwa Yayasan Supersemar kembali memberikan beasiswa untuk mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia untuk tahun periode 2010. Beasiswa ini akan dialokasikan untuk 180 mahasiswa reguler dengan ketentuan sebagai berikut:

* Beasiswa ini diperuntukkan bagi mahasiswa yang duduk di minimal semester 3 dan maksimal belum lulus satu tahun kedepan, IPK minimal 2,50 dan berasal dari keluarga kurang mampu.
* Pendartaran beserta berkasnya harus dikirimkan melalui Manajer/Koordinator Kemahasiswaan Fakultas ke Direktorat Kemahasiswaan di Gedung Pusat Pelayanan Mahasiswa Terpadu Universitas Indonesia (PPMTUI) paling lambat tanggal 11 Maret 2010, berkas yang harus dilengkapi adalah berikut ini:

Perlu kami informasikan juga bahwa bantuan beasiswa Supersemar tahun anggaran 2010 sebesar Rp. 120.000 (seratus dua puluh ribu rupiah) per mahasiswa per bulan, untuk jangka 12 (dua belas) bulan. Beasiswa ini diutamakan bagi mahasiswa penerima beasiswa tahun 2009 yang masih memenuhi persyaratan.

Beasiswa Rusia 2010

Pemerintah Federasi Rusia menawarkan para pelajar dan peniliti Indonesia sebanyak 35 beasiswa untuk jenjang pendidikan S-1 (Bachelor), dan S-2 (Magister), dan jenjang S-3 (Aspirantura), pos-doktoral (Doktorantura), serta penelitian/pelatihan (Stazhirovka). Dari jumlah tersebut, 25 beasiswa disediakan khusus untuk jenjang S-1.

Beasiswa luar negeri ke Rusia ini disediakan untuk semua ilmu alam, ilmu teknik, ilmu sosial, serta ilmu humaniora. Beasiswa tidak diberikan untuk mereka yang ingin menimba ilmu hubungan internasional, seni, dan olahraga. Untuk bidang studi hukum dan ilmu politik pun masing-masing hanya tersedia satu beasiswa, sedangkan kedokteran hanya tersedia dua beasiswa.

Beasiswa juga tersedia untuk ilmu-ilmu khusus seperti pendidikan, kesehatan masyarakat, ekonomi dan manajemen, spesialisasi interdisipliner ilmu alam, geologi dan sumber daya mineral, eksplorasi mineral, ilmu energi dan teknik mesin pembangkit, metalurgi, konstruksi mesin dan pemrosesan material, penerbangan, roket dan teknologi angkasa, teknologi maritim, peralatan transportasi darat, teknologi pertambangan dan perlengkapan, teknik elektro, pengendalian alat-alat gedung; radioteknik dan komunikasi, automasi dan kontrol, komputer dan informatika, eksploitasi transportasi, teknologi kimia, reproduksi dan proses sumber daya kehutanan, teknologi makanan, teknologi komoditas konsumen, arsitektur dan ilmu konstruksi, geodesi dan kartografi; agrikultur dan perikanan, ekologi dan pemanfaatan alam, serta kesehatan dan keselamatan.

Syarat utamanya, usia pelamar tidak lebih dari 25 tahun dan saat mendaftarkan beasiswa ini tidak lebih dari 3 tahun setelah tamat SMU. Pelamar juga harus memiliki ijazah SMU setara ijazah SMU di Rusia dengan nilai rata-rata 8,0 atau 80 % untuk mata pelajaran sesuai program studi/jurusan pilihan dan tidak ada angka merah untuk mata pelajaran lain.

Sebelum menimba ilmu, pelamar akan terlebih dulu mengikuti fakultas persiapan selama 1 tahun untuk mempelajari Bahasa Rusia dan mata pelajaran sesuai program studi/jurusan pilihannya.

Khusus beasiswa jenjang S-1 ini, skema beasiswa dari pemerintah Federasi Rusia ini senilai 1100 rubel atau 30,5 USD per bulan, tiket pesawat pergi-pulang Rusia-Indonesia sekitar 900 USD, serta biaya penjemputan atau transportasi dari airport ke tempat tujuan dan registrasi paspor minimal 250 USD (kecuali untuk kota-kota di luar Moskow).

Selain itu, pemerintah Rusia juga akan memberikan asrama mahasiswa sebagai hunian di sana. Hanya, ongkos sewanya dibebankan kepada penerima beasiswa yang nilainya sekitar 30 USD per 6 bulan.

The Full-Time programme is designed to increase your management capability and develop your expertise in chosen areas. International Indonesian Scholarship 2010-2011 to Study Bahasa Indonesia

DARMASISWA is a scholarship program offered to all foreign students from countries which have diplomatic relationship with Indonesia to study Bahasa Indonesia, arts, music and crafts. Participants can choose one of 45 different universities located in different cities in Indonesia. This program is organized by the Ministry of National Education (MoNE) in cooperation with the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).

The DARMASISWA program was started in 1974 as part of ASEAN (Association of South East Asian Nations) initiative, admitting only students from ASEAN. However, in 1976 this program was extended to include students from other countries such as Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hungary, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Sweden, and USA. In early 90’s, this program was extended further to include all countries which have diplomatic relationship with Indonesia. Until to date, the number of countries participating in this program is more than 75 countries.

The main purpose of the DARMASISWA program is to promote and increase the interest in the language and culture of Indonesia among the youth of other countries. It has also been designed to provide stronger cultural links and understanding among participating countries.

Program Beasiswa Fujitsu 2010

Fujitsu, sebuah perusahaan produsen komputer menawarkan program beasiswa manajemen kepemimpinan global di Japan-America Institute of Management Science (JAIMS) tahun 2010 bagi mahasiswa yang berasal dari wilayah Asia-Pasific* termasuk diantaranya Indonesia.

Program beasiswa ini bertujuan memberikan kesempatan bagi masyarakat di Asia Pasifik untuk memberikan sumbangsih lewat pembelajaran nilai dan budaya yang berbeda, serta bisnis global. Fujitsu memberikan beasiswa bagi program baru di JAIMS, yakni East-West Leaders Program (EWKLP) yang bertujuan menyiapkan generasi baru pemimpin bisnis.

Pendaftaran permohonan beasiswa ini dibuka hingga 10 Maret 2010. Dilanjutkan dengan wawancara pada April dan pemilihan peserta di bulan Mei.

JAIMS EWKLP 2010 Fall Term ini akan berlangsung mulai 11 Oktober 2010 hingga 6 Januari 2011 di Hawaii, AS dan Jepang. Program EWKLP menggabungkan praktik-praktik terbaik dari Timur dan Barat dengan format pembelajaran intensif. Setelah masa perkuliahan di Hawaii, peserta akan diundang ke Jepang untuk mengikuti berbagai kegiatan terkait kebudayaan, pendalaman tentang Fujitsu dan pemberian penghargaan.

Beasiswa Fujitsu ini meliputi:

Persyaratan:

1. A bachelor’s degree or a degree equivalent to a four-year standard baccalaureate degree in any discipline from a regionally or nationally accredited institution.
2. Cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
3. A minimum TOEFL score of 577/233/90 (paper/computer/Internet), TOEIC score of 750, or IELTS overall band test result of 6.5 or higher from tests taken between March 2008 and March 2010. Applicants who received a bachelor’s degree or an advanced degree with at least two years of full-time coursework within the last five years from a regionally accredited institution in the United States, Australia, United Kingdom, or New Zealand; or from a university in Canada, Africa or Singapore, where English is the language of instruction are exempt from taking the TOEFL, TOEIC, or IELTS.
4. A minimum of three years of relevant full-time work experience (five years preferred) at the time of application.

Fellowship Grant from Asian Civilisations Museum, Singapore

Job Description : The Asian Civilisations Museum (ACM) in Singapore invites scholars specialising in Buddhist art or Indian Trade Textiles to apply for a 12-month research fellowship. The applications will be screened by a committee of eminent scholars and will be administered by the Research and Publication Unit (RPU) of ACM.

The research fellowships were first offered in 2009. They are planned to generate in-depth study, documentation and thought leading publications on specialised aspects of Asian cultures. This is in line with the aim of the ACM to be a centre of research in Asian cultures and arts. Since its opening at the Empress Place in 2003, the ACM has established a reputation in the international museum arena for its excellent gallery displays and exhibitions.


The ACM is undertaking to develop its research potential in the field of Asian archaeology, art history and material culture, so as to become the regional hub synonymous with excellent research projects and publications in the field.
